R.E.S.T. Model

The R in the R.E.S.T Model stands for Responsibility.  One of the most important things I have learned in my entire life is the importance of taking responsibility for my own mindset, as well as my behaviour patterns. Without taking responsibility for our recurring problems, we will continue to blame and put the burden on others to make us happy and heal our past wounds.

The E in the R.E.S.T. Model stands for Emotional Regulation. What most people don't realize is how dysregulated emotions can cause us to perceive, interpret, and react in ways that are counter-productive and in ways that destroy emotional connection and intimacy. Learning to regulate your emotions is a key aspect to moving towards a life of happiness, success, and fulfilling relationships.

The S in the R.E.S.T. Model stands for Support. We all need a bit of help when it comes to consistency, discipline, and accountability. It's easy to lose sight of your goals or to lose your motivation and go back to old habits which is why it's so important to have someone who can support and challenge you to stay committed and on track until your new mental, emotional and behavioural patterns are well-established.

The T in the R.E.S.T. Model stands for Training. Theory is great but you need to know HOW TO practically apply healthy coping strategies and problem-solving skills to your day-to-day life which is why all of my courses and services include step-by-step skills and strategies to help you overcome obstacles and help you achieve your goals.
