R.E.S.T. Model

 

The R in the R.E.S.T Model stands for Responsibility.  The ONE most important thing I have learned in life is the importance of taking responsibility for our own mindset, as well as how our own mental, emotional and behaviour patterns  contribute to the repetitive problems and stressors we experience. 

 

The E in the R.E.S.T. Model stands for Emotional Release. What most people don't realize is how the accumulation of painful emotions from negative or traumatic past experiences is holding them back. Releasing the emotions and meanings associated to painful past experiences is key to moving towards a life of inner peace and emotional freedom.

 

The S in the R.E.S.T. Model stands for Skills and Strategies. Theory is great but you need to know HOW TO practically apply it to your life which is why all of my courses and services include step-by-step skills and strategies to help you achieve your goals. 

 

The T in the R.E.S.T. Model stands for Training Your Stress Response. While your nervous system is stuck in fight-or-flight mode, you will feel like you are not making any progress which is why retraining your your nervous system is an important step towards reducing mental and emotional stress.
